What is the inspiration behind the collection?

The “The Echo in Time” collection is inspired by Bauhaus architect and industrial designer Max Bill’s 1946 sculpture “Continuity.” This series conveys the abstract concept of the space-time continuum through tangible jewelry pieces, incorporating architectural elements like spiral staircases, beams, and urban skylines. These elements evolve along the time axis, echoing previous styles while transforming, much like echoes resonating in an enclosed space.

The collection continues the brand’s tradition of multifunctional wear, with many pieces offering different ways to be worn, inviting wearers to explore various possibilities. Unlike the brand’s previous designs featuring more streamlined and organic curves, this collection introduces geometric simplicity with angular shapes, presenting timeless, genderless jewellery.

What materials are used in Reflection’s silver pieces to ensure timeless elegance and durability?
In Reflection, all the silver pieces are all made of sterling silver, we wish it can bring you timeless elegance not just for seasonal fashion. Mostly, our silver products are sterling silver with platinum plated which makes the products more durable and keeps the luster.

What is the difference between sterling silver and silver plated jewellery?
Sterling silver is often made up of 92.5% pure silver combined with a small percentage of copper. However, silver plated jewelry contains only a thin layer of real silver, with a base metal of nickel, copper, etc.
Over time, silver plated jewellery will begin to fade and tarnish away, exposing the base metal. Those who have sensitive skin may find a reaction occurs because of the presence of nickel. You may find most of the jewellery / accessory from high street brands are silver plated due to the cheaper cost.
