How to Paint on a Tote Bag!

Painting on textiles is an interesting and new way of creating something meaningful for yourself. Monika invites you to bring your most beautiful landscape picture, and she will share her techniques on how to create an abstract design from your picture, structure the composition, and make a clean and prestigious design. Monika will share all the secrets she has discovered along her creative journey!

Duration: 2 hours

Workshop Schedule

Introduction (15 mins)
– Introduction of Monika Kučiauskaitė
– Basic composition skills for sketch preparation
– Explanation of painting on textiles with acrylics
– Overview of tools used in the workshop

Workshop Session (90 mins)
– Tool usage introduction
– Sketching and creating the design
– Painting on the tote bag

Presentation (15 mins)
– Showcase of participants’ creations
– Q&A and final tips

An 8Oz Eco Cotton Canvas (natural colour: H 40 x W 35 x D 9 cm)
All necessary tools and ink (brushes, paints, textile medium, drawing pencils, mixing plates, and sticky tape for sharp edges)
