岡山県倉敷市児島で創業した畳縁メーカー〈高田織物（タカタオリモノ）〉で製作した別注カード＆コインウォレット。「畳べり」を使用したこのウォレットは、耐久性があり、程よい滑り具合と柔らかさを兼ね備えており、毎日の使用に最適で、畳の角を擦れや傷みから守ります。立体的な模様が特徴のジャカード織りで、「亀甲（鶯）」「亀菊（納戸）」「舛菊（鶯）」「業平（納戸）」などの伝統的で象徴的な柄をセレクト。これらの古くから使われる定番の模様は、伝統的なデザインとして受け継がれています。

An exclusive card & coin wallet created by Takada Orimono, a tatami edge manufacturer founded in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture. Crafted using “tatami-beri” (tatami edge), the wallet is both durable and soft, with just the right amount of smoothness, making it suitable for everyday use while protecting the corners of tatami mats from wear and damage. The wallet features a jacquard weave with three-dimensional patterns, including traditional and iconic designs such as “Kikkō (Uguisu),” “Kikukiku (Nando),” “Masukiku (Uguisu),” and “Narihira (Nando).” These classic patterns have been passed down through the ages as staple traditional motifs.

Takata Orimono
Founded around 1892 in Kojima, Kurashiki, Okayama, overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, Takata Orimono began producing textiles. After World War II, it became a specialized manufacturer of tatami edges (tatami-beri) and grew to become the number one brand in the industry. Today, Takata Orimono produces a variety of warm, colourful tatami-beri and continues to promote the charm and potential of textiles from the town of Kojima, known for its textile heritage.
