Vegan leather refers to animal-friendly leather, as it neither contains any animal components nor involves animal testing in its raw materials or manufacturing process. In other words, any leather made from organic or inorganic materials outside of animal origins can be classified as vegan leather. Depending on the source, it can be further categorized into natural materials, recycled materials, and synthetic leather. The vegan leather selected by Jun616xteen is locally produced in Taiwan. We strictly control the materials used and choose Taiwanese collaborators to reduce carbon emissions from the supply chain.

Micro Skin: Resembles real leather, eco-friendly, and no dioxin emissions even at high temperatures.

Puro: Soft, lightweight, resists hydrolysis, DMF-free, and odorless.

+ DMF-free, non-toxic, and odorless, with no detectable DMF emissions.

How Does Jun616xteen Approach Sustainability In their Practices?
+ Jun616xteen currently offers two types of vegan leather: Micro Skin and Puro.
+ Handcrafted Dust Bags:
Each product comes with a dedicated dust bag. Jun616xteen sources existing local materials and drawstrings in Taiwan, avoiding the development of new materials to reduce inventory and minimize waste. Production is done in collaboration with family subcontractors from Yongle Market, believing that the warmth of handmade products can be conveyed to the consumers.
+ Carefully Selected High-Quality Fabrics:
High-quality fabrics from Taiwan are used, and twill fabric from Sanjia Street in Sanchong is chosen for the linings of the bags, effectively reusing existing fabric stock to minimize waste.
+ FSC Certified Plastic-Free Packaging Materials:
The brand’s packaging boxes are made from FSC-certified kraft paper with no plastic coatings. The ribbons are also produced by a Taiwanese manufacturer, ensuring excellent quality.

ECOFRIENDLY MATERIALS	Jun616xteen employs two types of vegan leather materials: Puro and Micro Skin. Puro Vegan Leather: Soft, lightweight, and comfortable Features a structure with interconnected pores, resulting in a soft touch and aiding in air and heat transfer. Endures water resistance testing in laboratory jungle conditions, maintaining its properties for at least five weeks.Vegan leather produced through coating processes contributes to energy conservation. Created without the use of DMF (dimethylformamide), substituting water for raw materials, making it non-toxic and odor-free. Micro Skin Vegan Leather: Offers a texture akin to genuine leather while adhering to environmentally friendly production methods. Utilises synthetic resin-coated vegan leather manufactured through transfer coating processes. Mimics the tactile feel of real leather, addressing the uneven characteristics of genuine leather. Environmentally friendly; high-temperature combustion doesn't yield dioxin emissions.
CARE	Your handbags are crafted with exquisite vegan leather, each telling its unique story through shades, spots, and grain variations that add character. To keep your bag at its best and ensure it stands the test of time, we kindly suggest: + Shield it from intense heat and direct sunlight. + Keep it dry during rainy days and humid conditions. + Steer clear of oils, perfumes, and makeup to preserve its glow. + Light-colored leather loves its space; avoid mingling with darker materials. + If a little rain or dirt pays a visit, a soft, light-colored cloth slightly dampened with water or mild cleanser will do the trick. After this gentle cleanse, let it air-dry naturally. Remember, acidic cleaners are a no-go – they don't play nice with leather. Just a heads-up: + No rough-and-tough rubbing against rough surfaces, please. A tender rubdown with a soft, dry cloth is more like it. +Store your bag in the provided dust bag. Avoid storing it in high temperatures, humidity, or poorly ventilated areas. Do not store it in plastic bags.
