Solana was created in London by founder Sanna Nilsson during the pandemic and took roots in handmade craft, mainly the art of crochet. A craft passed on by women generation after generation. During Sanna’s upbringing in Sweden she watched both her grandmother and mother frequently crocheting, but didn’t believe this was something she would ever get into herself.
