+ Your finger size can vary throughout the day - the best time to measure is at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest. Avoid measuring when your hands are cold, as your fingers may be half a size smaller than usual!

+ Your ring should fit comfortably on your finger: it should be snug enough not to fall off but loose enough to slide over your knuckle.

+ If you're buying a gift, the best way to determine the ring size is to borrow one of their rings (from the correct finger) and use our ring sizing guide to ascertain its size."

de rosario was founded by jewellery designer Rosario, whose work is inspired by life between Granada and London and a belief in jewellery as a wearable form of self-expression.

What is Mitsuro Hikime?

Mitsuro Hikime is a rare traditional Japanese wax-working technique that creates flowing, organic textures. Because each pattern develops naturally during the making process, every piece is unique.

Why is Mitsuro Hikime special?

Unlike machine-made textures, Mitsuro Hikime creates one-of-a-kind surfaces that cannot be exactly replicated, making each piece distinctive.

Does de rosario also use wax carving techniques?

Yes. In addition to Mitsuro Hikime, selected de rosario designs are created using traditional wax carving techniques. Each piece begins as a hand-carved wax model before being cast into precious metal, allowing for sculptural forms and intricate details that are difficult to achieve through other methods.

Where is de rosario jewellery made?

Every piece is handcrafted to order in the brand’s London studio.

Are de rosario pieces hallmarked?

Yes. In accordance with UK government hallmarking regulations, all silver and gold-plated pieces exceeding the legal weight threshold of 7.78 grams are independently hallmarked by an authorised UK Assay Office. Hallmarking verifies the precious metal content and provides assurance of authenticity and quality.

CARE

To Care for Sterling Silver:

+ Regular Cleaning: Wipe sterling silver regularly with a soft cloth to remove tarnish or fingerprints.
+ Wash Gently: Clean with mild soap and warm water, then dry thoroughly using a lint-free cloth.
+ Handle Dirt or Tarnish: Gently wipe with a soft cloth if tarnish or dirt appears. Store the item in a protective bag. Avoid using silver polishing cloths, as excessive polishing may wear off the plating.
+ Avoid Chemicals: Keep silver away from harsh chemicals, including household cleaners, chlorine, and saltwater.
+ Proper Storage: Store in a cool, dry place, ideally in a tarnish-resistant pouch or lined jewelry box.
+ Polish Carefully: For deeper cleaning, use a silver polishing cloth with gentle strokes to prevent scratches.
